Company Background

Saranac Garage Door Co. is a customer-driven and focused company. The owner, Al Talan, started out in the manufacturing industry that served Aerospace, Automotive, Steel, and Glass industries. After having served in roles as an application engineer, sales engineering, and service manager, he left the industry to care for his parents.

“I took this time to reflect on what I wanted to do in the future. I always wanted to start my own business and do something in a hands-on capacity. After being introduced to the world of garage doors, I knew this was for me. It is 100% driven by the customer. There is nothing better than installing a new door, and seeing the smile on the customer’s face.”

Al Talan brings his prior experience, problem-solving skills, and the goal of customer satisfaction to every job! Having a satisfied customer is what we are about at Saranac Garage Door Co.

“We just had Chris out for a consultation for replacing our siding. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the products. He came out on the day after thanksgiving and was very flexible with our schedule! We decided to go ahead and have them do the work and we are very excited to get it started!! Thanks Chris!"

“Al was awesome repairing our garage door! Cordial, responsive, fast. My wife and I first got a quote from a different company and we are so happy we called Al and got a second opinion. He got the work done quickly, thoroughly, and much more cost effectively than our other option. Would give six stars out of five if I could.”

“We had an excellent experience with Saranac Garage Door services. Great communication, door looks and works great. Al and his team did a phenomenal job. Everything went smoothly and the garage door is beautiful. I would highly recommend Al and his company!!”
